Mr Philipp will head what will be the company’s local mobile advertising service aimed at providing new ways for businesses to market to customers and to communicate with them in what is an increasingly mobile-dominated environment.
Mr Philipp was founder of the mobile marketing company UpSnap which he recently sold. UBL will be acquiring certain other assets owned by Mr Philipp, and all will operate under the AdsLocal brand at www. AdsLocal.com.
